Bondi Beach Apartment
by Greg Natale

Arch. Greg Natale

The renovation and redesign of Greg Natale involved removing the interior walls to create an open space with living, kitchen and dining area, where ceilings and stucco walls reflect light and water with great effect.

Art Déco
This renovated three-bedroom apartment from the 70s offers a glamorous version of beach life in a palette of pale green and burnt orange, inspired by sea and sand outside, as well as a series of Art Deco buildings located in the same area. Perforated bulkheads hide amenities such as support beams and air conditioning and also provide a decorative element, with the circle pattern repeated in the design details from the moldings of the joineries to the beautifully colored mosaic tiles in the bathrooms.

Curves

Curves play an important role: in the arches and in the fluted columns, used to increase the dimensions of the apartment, in the rounded forms of joinery and in the lines of the furniture. A collection of contemporary and 50’s pieces.

Breath-taking view

Equally stunning is the view from the terrace, with its custom tiles winking at Gio Ponti’s design, evoking hotel-style sophistication and a holiday atmosphere at home.
